Sew What Do I Wear?

Sew What Do I Wear?

I know! You wear some combo of M4M + P4P, of course!
Well.. I do…
For this tour, I really wanted to make some combination that I hadn’t tried before. I have exactly zero of the Patterns for Pirates Pencil Skirts in my closet, so it was time to change that! I made two and paired them with the Made for Mermaids Ava, and a mash of the P4P Slim Fit Raglan + the P4P Free Spirit Tank. The best part is that the shirts and skirts are interchangeable! So, instead of two outfits, I get a minimum of four. Just the way I like it!
So first, I’ll share my Pencil Skirt and Slim Fit Raglan + Free Spirit Tank mash. I used a nice almost-houndstooth that I got from Fabric.com ages ago for the skirt, and a french-terry spandex from So Sew English Fabrics for the top. Comfort + style. I am so excited to wear this outfit this winter!

So, not sure why I didn’t realize that that huge fence/gate thing was totally photobombing all these pics, but… it is. So… we’re going to have to ignore it.

So, quick plug… I’m wearing the Sheer Berry LipSense color with the Matte Gloss. This lip color stays on all day, doesn’t smudge, and there are soooo many colors to suit any style. I’ve started reppin’ the brand (link is to my Facebook group, request to join and I’ll add you!), and I’d love to help you find the right colors for you, too! I never used to be that into makeup, but a little lip color really polishes the look! #sorryihadto #imdonenow #promise

I don’t super love backside shots of myself, but… it is nice to see the back of an outfit sometimes!

A little accessory switcheroo gives these ensem a different look, too!
Next up is the Pencil Skirt and Mama Ava combo! I’m not a thousand percent sure where I got the ponte for the skirt, but I think it was Raspberry Creek Fabrics like at least eleventy years ago. The burgundy rayon spandex also came from Diana at RCF! Love shopping with her!

I was racing the sunset tonight, so I only got a couple mix & match shots, but you get the picture! Paired with the first skirt, and paired with my favorite “broken” jeans. Quote courtesy of my 3 year old. <3

So there you have it! The Pencil Skirt is vital for your wardrobe, and the Ava… Don’t even get me started. My current OBSESSION. You’ll also see me wearing the extreme curved hem version of that constantly, if you know me in real life.
I wear at least one or four of them weekly. This was my first time mashing the Slim Fit Raglan with the Free Spirit Tank, but I think it makes for a fun combo. I just love the angle at the shoulders on the sleeves. It’s fun to dress that up a bit from the normal raglan look. Sew… What will you wear?
xoxo
