The Kisses Co. Boys Can Wear Pink Season 2

The Kisses Co. Boys Can Wear Pink Season 2
Time for one of my favorite blog tours of the year! Boys Can Wear Pink – hosted by Handmade Boy. I love this tour! So exciting! Plus, I absolutely love all the boy-sewing inspiration that comes along with it!
I am not typically shy about color with my gents. They’ve all worn pink before. Many times. They’ve worn purple, too. They’re just colors, man!
This year, when planning Hale’s [6] Valentine’s Day outfit, I did so intending to use it alongside this tour, too. And Roan [3] can make any outfit look good, so I made him a little playdate outfit, too!
I used the Rowan Tee pattern from Titchy Threads for Hale’s shirt. I paired it with this adorable heart print from Raspberry Creek Fabrics‘ Club line. The body of his shirt is a ponte (not my first choice, but I didn’t have enough c/l navy on hand and the heart wants what it wants…lol), and the heart stripes are cotton/lycra.
I super love this fabric… It’s so unique and cute!
And a picture of all my Valentine’s just because I can.

For Roan’s BCWP2 outfit, I used Jabberwocky. One of my favorite, long-hoarded custom prints by Bebe Flow! I love all the vibrant colors on him – including the pink! He absolutely loves monsters and anything creepy, crawly and funky lookin’. Ha! I used the new Reid pattern by Ellidactyl for his shirt because I’m loving the different angles and colorblocking! The pants are modified Bonny leggings by Made for Mermaids.
This outfit is perfect for my little guy. He and I hang out at home together most of the time, so his most-used wardrobe pieces are comfy pants and a comfy top- as close as he can get to jammies! So this combo is right on! He can even wear it to playdates, and has already worn it to his brothers’ karate practice. He loves it!
My little hambone has gotten quite comfortable in front of the camera…
And since he turns 3 this week, I’ll throw in a few extras. My blue-eyed boy sure is sweet! <3
And there you have it. Pink really is just a color. A color for boys, a color for girls. A color for dogs, cats, peacocks, hippopotamuses, and octopi. Everyone and anyone. Let those little gents own it!
