I used the Mabel Madison Tivoli Blue Verhees Euro Poplin to make the new Leah Wrap Top by Simple Life Pattern Co. That was a lot of words. Ha! I have been dyyyying to make that pattern for my sweet little lady, and this tour was just the push I needed. I knew I wanted to do it in a floral print, and this poplin was perfect! It is soft to the touch and light enough for a top like this that has a bit of bulk to it. I love the vibrant florals. It’ll work great with all Nevey’s different pants, shorts and capris this spring! I can’t wait to start styling it!
From the minute I picked the top up, my sweetie-pea lit up. She loves new clothes (gee, I wonder where she gets that… ;)), bright colors and being doted on by her mama. This ensem was perfect for all that. <3
I made the size 5 Leah with short sleeves. I used a little under 1 1/3 yards. I’m excited to find another project, probably for my niece to use up what’s left!
And a few more pics to show off my little darling’s personality. We’ve got a twirl (of course!), and a flex. Because what little girl who has 3 brothers, doesn’t know how to flex a little muscle sometimes?!

If you haven’t played around with these fab Euro prints from Mabel Madison yet, you should definitely get to it! I love the unique prints. Not to mention the fun little extras that Emily throws in the package!
